Aaron Moroder, born in Ortisei in 1995, discovered his passion for the mountains at a young age. What began with early ski tours alongside his father evolved into a deep passion for climbing in the Dolomites by the age of 14. In his youth, there was little more important to him than exploring the steep faces of his homeland with friends, building an impressive climbing resume along the way. In 2012, he joined the Mountain Rescue, and since 2014, he has been a member of the Catores. During this time, Aaron also pursued his mountain guide certification, which he successfully completed in 2019.
Alongside his alpine career, Aaron completed his medical studies in Innsbruck. Today, he works as an anesthesiologist at Merano Hospital, yet he remains active as a mountain guide. For him, working on the mountain is much more than just a change of pace: he finds great satisfaction in leading guests to the places where he feels most at home. He particularly values secluded, quiet tours far from well-known paths, where he can experience the untouched beauty of nature together with his companions.
