Moritz Peristi is one of the veterans of the Val Gardena mountain guide and rescue scene. He is active in the Val Gardena Mountain Rescue Service for many years and, as an instructor, showed many younger generation climbers what really matters on the mountain. Especially during the early years of organized mountain rescue in the Dolomites, he was right at the forefront with many innovative ideas to improve safety and aid on the mountain. Many also know him as an experienced winch operator for the Aiut Alpin Dolomites helicopter rescue.
Today, Moritz takes things a bit easier: he is still out and about as a mountain guide, but now prefers to focus on more leisurely, relaxed tours. Anyone who joins him on a trip will benefit from a wealth of experience and plenty of exciting stories along the way.
