Christof Piccolruaz has been working as a mountain guide for over 30 years. Through his coaching activities with the local climbing club, he has discovered and nurtured numerous young climbing talents. This special ability is based not only on his long-standing experience in the sport, but also on his degree in Sports Science in Verona and his nine years of teaching physical education at the Art High School in Ortisei.
Christof’s heart beats for rock climbing, which naturally is also his favorite discipline when guiding. You can often find him out on a tour in the Geisler group, which rises literally right outside his doorstep. When he isn't climbing, he spends time with his family at his farm above St. Christina. In addition, Christof is an active member of the Mountain Rescue Service and part of the training team for the provincial association, where he has been passing on his experience and knowledge for many years.
