Piccola Fermeda normal route - Odle peaks with a guide

The Small Fermeda is one of the most beautifully shaped peaks in the Odle Group and offers a wonderful ascent on the finest dolomite rock. As a photographic motif, the Fermeda towers are world-famous, drawing thousands of onlookers to the Seceda every year. Yet, very few people realize that these fascinating rock spires can actually be climbed.

For us Catores mountain guides, the "Pitla Fermeda" is one of the most beautiful destinations in the valley, and fortunately, you often have the route to yourself. The ascent via the southwest face and the summit ridge offers magnificent climbing at grade III. The rock is exceptionally grippy and upon reaching the summit, you are rewarded with a stunning panoramic view of our home, Val Gardena.
