Punta Santner is an imposing rock tower that, together with Punta Euringer and the Sciliar, forms one of the iconic landmarks of South Tyrol. Since it is clearly visible from Bolzano, this Dolomite peak also inevitably draws all eyes from Val Gardena and Alpe di Siusi. The Via Normale di Glanvell is a classic pleasure climb of moderate difficulty, which constitutes a full day’s outing when starting from Bagni di Ratzes via the Rifugio Schlernbödele. The ascent via the north face leads through a mix of face and ridge climbing to the magnificent, free-standing summit. The long descent, involving 18 abseils, traverses a wild and rugged Dolomite landscape.
Climb one of the most beautiful rock needles in South Tyrol with a local mountain guide and enjoy this peaceful corner of the Dolomites!

If you prefer a more leisurely pace, you can split the tour into two days. In this case, we ascend to the idyllic Rifugio Schlernbödele on the previous day and start the climb directly from there the following morning.
