Day 1: Meeting with the Catores mountain guide at the Karer Pass, from where we head to the Rotwandhütte (Rifugio Roda di Vaèl). The faces above the hut are perfect for an introductory climb. Overnight stay at the cozy Rotwandhütte.
Day 2: Climbing tour on the Rotwand followed by a hike to the magnificent Gardeccia basin. Overnight stay at the traditional Vajolet Hut.
Day 3: Ascent of the Rosengartenspitze (Catinaccio) via one of its beautiful routes. Overnight stay at the spectacularly located Santnerpass Hut or Rifugio Re Alberto.
Day 4: Climbing on the famous Vajolet Towers followed by a descent via the Santner Pass via ferrata.
Route Suggestions: Fensterleturm, Torre Edwards - Via del Gracchio, Masaré Towers, Rotwand - Rizzi or Dibona, Rosengarten South Ridge, Rosengarten East Face - Dimai, Rosengarten Normal Route, Vajolet Towers, Delago Ridge, Stabeler Tower.
Traveling by train to Bolzano followed by a bus ride to the Karer Pass is the ideal option for those wishing to travel without a car.
Upon request, the tour can be shortened to a three-day trip or extended to include the northern areas of the Rosengarten Group.
