Freeride Marmolada with a local mountain guide

Guided Freeride Descents on the Marmolada: Backcountry Skiing on the Queen of the Dolomites

Together with Arabba, the Marmolada is undoubtedly the freeride Mecca of the Dolomites. The Punta Rocca, standing at 3,265 meters, is the mountain station of the cable car starting from Malga Ciapela. After an 1,800-meter drop in altitude, it impresses not only with a breathtaking view in the heart of the Dolomites, but is also the starting point of a vast area that will make any powder-lover's heart beat faster. On the wide northern slopes, with over 1,200 meters of vertical drop down to the Fedaia reservoir, you and the Catores mountain guides will find the best route for your day of skiing—plenty of space for making fresh tracks and usually great snow conditions right into spring. The area is well connected to the Sella Ronda and can be ideally combined with the steep slopes of Arabba.

Ski the classics like Lydia, Bellunese Vecchia or Intra i Sas with us, the Catores and experience the Marmolada freeride paradise accompanied by a local mountain guide!
