Sass Rigais – Guided via ferrata tour on a 3,000-metre Dolomite peak

Sass Rigais is located in the striking Odle group, stretching between Val di Funes and Val Gardena. The summit, set within the Parco naturale Puez-Odle, impresses with picturesque alpine meadows and views of Sassolungo, the Gruppo Stevia, and the dramatic spires of the Odle peaks.

Sass Rigais was the first 3,000-metre peak climbed by mountaineering legend Reinhold Messner at the age of just five. Today, two via ferratas lead to the summit, allowing for an impressive traverse. The route includes sections up to difficulty grade C, while easier parts are only partially secured.
